The ACF Monterey Bay celebrates the incredible work of Chef Siska Silitonga (@chilicali), who brought bold Indonesian flavors to UC Merced for a special Women’s History Month event featuring Shannon Lee (@therealshannonlee) of the Bruce Lee Foundation.
Chef Siska’s dishes highlighted the vibrant culinary traditions of Indonesia, perfectly complementing an evening dedicated to legacy, resilience, and empowerment. Monterey Bay ACF members, Chef Raymond Montemayor and Chef Jonathan Gutierrez assisted in executing Chef Siska’s recipes flawlessly.
A few weeks prior, ACF Monterey Bay members, Nicole Fleming and Mitch Vanagten hosted a Lunar New Year fundraiser in Merced’s Tioga Sequoia Taproom, supporting the Bruce Lee Foundation’s programs like Camp Bruce Lee, which empowers youth through martial arts and mindfulness.
