Chef Estevan Jimenez, Board Member

Chef EJ brings more than 18 years of kitchen management experience to Rancho Cielo, providing culinary training for at-risk youth of Monterey County. Emphasizing, sustainability and utilizing seasonal products in creative menus. Having cultivated many long-standing relationships with local purveyors, he is enthusiastic about featuring their products in his cuisine. Previous to joining Rancho Cielo, he was Corporate Chef de Cuisine for Aqua Terra Culinary, Executive Sous Chef at Ventana Inn and Spa in Big Sur, and Chef de Cuisine at The Monterey Bay Aquarium.  Prior to that, EJ held various positions at The Jonathan Beach Club (Santa Monica, CA) and the Huntington Museum, Library, and Botanical Gardens (Pasadena, CA).  EJ graduated in 2004 from the California School of Culinary Arts, Le Cordon Bleu Program, relocating to the Central Coast in 2005.
