Bill Cox currently works as the Emergency Response Team lead for US Foods for Northern California. His main roll is working with Fire Kitchen Crews onsite to coordinate food ordering, logistics, menus to feed firefighters battling major fire incidence in Northern California. He also consults for the entire West Regions Fire Business. His employer is a Certified Green Business and is continuously improving energy and environmental efficiencies with solar panels, recycling, and battery technology. He was part of a food brokerage team that introduced Eco Products to the Bay Area, growing sales, but more importantly, spreading knowledge of the importance of utilizing compostable products.
He participates in many local food events and is also on the Board of Directors of MEarth which has many synergies with the ACF mission statement. Recently inducted into the Disciples of Escoffier.
In his spare time he enjoys photography of events & landscapes.
